uReach uses JavaScript and cookies in your browser.
After making the following adjustments, you may need to close your Web browser (all windows) and then restart your browser.
To enable cookies and JavaScript, see the directions for your browser version below:
Windows Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.X
- From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
- To enable JavaScript, do the following:
- Click on the Security tab on the "Internet Options" window.
- Select Internet as the "Web content zone".
- If you have never customized your security settings for this zone (i.e., Custom is not selected for the Security Level):
- Select (by moving the slider) Medium or lower for the security level, in order to fully utilize all of the features of the uReach service.
- Otherwise:
- Click the Custom Level... button to display the "Security Settings" window.
- Scroll down to the "Scripting" section and select the Enable button for the Active scripting option.
- Click OK on the "Security Settings" window to return to the "Internet Options" window.
- To enable cookies, do the following:
- Click on the Privacy tab on the "Internet Options" window.
- Click on the Edit... button at the bottom to override cookie handling for individual Web sites.
- Enter ureach.com in the Address of Web site box.
- Click Allow to add ureach.com to the list of Managed Web sites below.
- Click OK on the "Per Site Privacy Actions" window to return to the "Internet Options" window.
- Click OK on the "Internet Options" window.
Windows Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.X
- From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
- Click on the Security tab.
- Select Internet as the "Web content zone".
- If you have never customized your security settings for this zone (i.e., Custom is not selected for the Security Level):
- Select (by moving the slider) Medium or lower for the security level, in order to fully utilize all of the features of uReach.
- Otherwise:
- Click the Custom Level... button to display the "Security Settings" window.
- Scroll down to the "Cookies" section and select the Enable button for the Allow cookies that are stored on your computer option.
- Select the Enable button for the Allow per-session cookies (not stored) option.
- Scroll to the "Scripting" section and select the Enable button for the Active Scripting option.
- Click OK on the "Security Settings" window to return to the "Internet Options" window.
- Click OK on the "Internet Options" window.
Windows Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.X
- From the View menu, select Internet Options.
- To enable JavaScript, do the following:
- Click on the Security tab.

- Select Internet Zone from the "Zone" pull-down list.
- If you have never customized your security settings for this zone (i.e., the Custom button is not selected under Security Level is not selected):
- Select Medium or Low for the security level, in order to fully utilize all of the features of uReach.
- Otherwise:
- Select the Custom button for the security level, and click the Settings... button to display the "Security Settings" window.
- Scroll to the "Scripting" section and select the Enable Active Scripting button.
- Click OK on the "Security Settings" window.
- To enable cookies, do the following:
- Click on the Advanced tab.
- Scroll down to the "Security" section and select one of the following for the "Cookies" option:
- Always accept cookies
- Prompt before accepting cookies

- Click OK on the "Internet Options" window.
Windows Netscape Navigator 7.X
- From the Edit menu, select Preferences.
- Click on the Advanced category on the left side of the Preferences window. Expand the list to show subcategories.
- Click Scripts & Plugins under Advanced. On the Scripts & Plugins window, check the Navigator checkbox under the "Enable JavaScript for" heading.
- Click on the Privacy and Security category on the left side of the Preferences window. Expand the list to show subcategories.
- Click Cookies under Privacy and Security. Click Enable cookies for the originating site only.
- Click OK.
Windows Netscape Navigator 6.X
- From the Edit menu, select Preferences....
- Click on the Advanced category on the left side of the Preferences window.
- Check the Enable JavaScript for Navigator checkbox.
- Click on the Privacy and Security category on the left. Expand the list to show subcategories.
- Click Cookies. Select one of the following buttons:
- Enable all cookies
- Enable cookies for the originating web site only
- Click OK.
Windows Netscape Navigator 4.X
- From the Edit menu, select Preferences.
- Click on the Advanced category on the left side of the Preferences window.
- Check the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
- In the Cookies section, select one of the following buttons:
- Accept all cookies
- Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server

- Click OK.
Mozilla Firefox 1.X
- From the Tools menu, select Options....
- Click on the Privacy category on the left side of the Options window.
- On the right side of the window, click the "+" to the left of Cookies if necessary to expand the section.
- Check the Allow sites to set cookies checkbox.
- Click on the Web Features category on the left side of the Options window.
- Check the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
- Click OK on the Options window.
Macintosh Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.5 and 5.X
- From the Edit menu (or Explorer menu if using Mac OS), select Preferences.
- Under the Web Browser section on the left side of the window click Web content. On the right side of the window:
- Check the Enable scripting checkbox.
- Under the Receiving Files section, click Cookies, and select one of the following from the pull-down list labeled
When receiving cookies:
- Never ask
- Ask for each site
- Ask for each cookie
Macintosh Netscape Navigator 6.X
